For the Spring/Summer 2021 collection, Milan-based brand, Alanui has invited shoppers to experience an “incredible adventure through the cathartic and timeless nature of vast and silent lands.” with a capsule of Western-inspired knitwear and desert-inspired iconography.
Key staples from the women’s collection include a rendered image of the iconic Monument Valley landscape in the labels the signature Icon cashmere cardigan. Striped and graphic motifs on fringed styled jackets, whilst horses and the “Desert Mood” logo are placed on the back of a cardigan in a warm colour palette of mustard yellow, burgundy and red.
Further pieces from the ready to wear capsule include cotton fringed polo shirts with lace-up details and denim vests, intarsia of tennis rackets and players add a retro sporty vibe to knitwear designs worked in a red clay tone.
Elsewhere, we see an exclusive partnership with Sebago. Consisting of reinterpretations of the footwear label’s signature Docksides boat shoes, and the Dan loafers.
The capsule also debuts the labels first launch into homeware. Blankets made of cashmere or virgin wool, feature the collection’s signature desert landscapes matched with a Vichy pattern or the label’s recognizable motif.
