Dickies is once again honouring its strong roots in workwear with ‘Remastered Classics’, a collection inspired by DIY culture, garment repair, and patching.
With a history dating back almost 100 years, Dickies was founded in Fort Worth Texas in the early 1920s, originally making denim bib overalls for farm and ranch workers in the Southwest of the country. This capsule collection pays homage to classic workwear while celebrating garments that have endured years of use, work and life.
As a nod to 90’s trends, the collection includes bib overalls, coveralls, modified 874’s and chore coats with applied tonal fabric and pattern patch detailing. Reworked paisley prints are placed next to classic corduroy and canvas, resulting in refined garments that will last.
Whether worn alone, with a reworked tee or cropped corduroy pants, the women’s all over paisley print is a trend-led, yet classically styled option. Among the men’s offerings are a reworked chore coat and utility pants in dark green, made of a combination of corduroy and canvas. Paisley prints, such as the dark print in the collection, complement the colours of iconic cloths and corduroy in a playful, yet balanced way.
