Since 2017, Dirty Pineapple, has fused the trendiness of casual streetwear with high-fashion aesthetics. With previous collections called “Recycled Love” or “Narcissist Rhapsody”, the Shanghai labels latest project explores the dual reality of distancing public and private personas.
The result, an imagining a surrealist place to explore from a distance, where insecurities become strengths, doubt becomes empathy and one feels safe. A space Dirty Pineapple have named the “Hush Garden”.
Launching as part of New York Fashion Week, relaxed takes on unisex suiting, jumpsuits, and sleeveless knitted vests are full of playful colours and Vichy prints. We also see the introduction of the new ‘spell’ print alongside a pattern reminiscent of leopard pattern as well as signature lounge suits in orange, blue and beige.
