ROKSANDA Spring Summer 2022 collection explores female narratives and placement within society. The kinetic vibrancy surrounding the process of change is captured in this season’s work.
As ROKSANDA returns to the Serpentine Pavilion for the 4th time, the physicality of structures without limits is further consolidated. Serpentine Gallery’s creation for this season was created by Sumayya Vally, the youngest architect ever to be commissioned by Kensington’s Serpentine.
With a pink and grey colour palette inspired by the unique architecture of London, this collection is constructed using reclaimed and natural materials. This environment provides a reflection of ROKSANDA’s dedication to colour, contrast, architecture, and a reframed female narrative.
Deep crimson and merlot hues complement blanket stripe patterns in a nod to Roksanda’s trademark colour-blocking brand heritage. While tailored garments remain powerful, they are repositioned and adapted for a variety of uses, inspired by 1980s menswear shapes, yet updated to meet a more relaxed interchangeability for the brand’s collection.
