Daily Paper is taking its first steps into the watch industry as part of its continuous exploration of new disciplines. The Amsterdam-based brand has partnered with Japanese watchmaker G-SHOCK to create a unique design inspired by the iconic 1983 model. The combined passion for the creativity of Daily Paper and G-SHOCK has resulted in an outstanding piece infused with both brands’ DNA.

Bringing together multiple nostalgic brand symbols in one product, this collaboration celebrates the heritages of Daily Paper and G-SHOCK. A deep devotion to music, art, fashion and street culture is at the heart of their 90s roots.Ā 

The campaign reinterprets a 90s-inspired Casio ad through the Daily Paper lens, telling a story about time and culture. Dark silhouettes contrast with light, minimalistic backgrounds, while a classic feel, reminiscent of the 90s, and supersized visuals accentuate the retro aesthetic.
