Gucci Opens The New Home For Its Archive Collection
July 5, 2021

Gucci take their archive back home as the iconic Italian fashion house continue their 100th anniversary celebrations. Housed in Palazzo Settimanni, Florence, the 15th century structure has played an integral part in the history of the label ever since it was acquired in 1953, once serving as a factory, workshop and showroom.
Commissioned and designed by Creative Director Alessandro Michele, the building’s restoration bridges the brand’s past and present stylistic codes, fusing contemporary elements with the setting’s grandeur to create Gucci’s holy lands.
