Jacquemus has launched its minimalist AW20 collection inspired by classic 1990s fashion. Having celebrated the 10th anniversary of his fashion brand on a hot pink runway in a Parisian lavender field last summer, the French designer embraced something more subdued and minimalistic which was first teased in La Defense Arena.
Inspired by the first clothing piece the French designer produced in 1997, the collection highlights a host of constructed neutral garments for men and women. Pieces include oversized blazers and coats, form-fitting dresses, slinky knitted shorts, tailored separates and low-slung, unzipped pants. Whilst fabrics range from linen and wool to ribbed knits and denim in hues like natural stone, khaki, grey and lavender with hints of hot pink.
