First teased a cover story for the second issue of SSENSE magazine, New York-based artist, Petra Collins debuts her first fashion collaboration with the luxury and streetwear retailer.
Inspired by Collins’ desire to create clothing that she would wear, the capsule features bedroom inspired streetwear. Pieces include matching lingerie and pyjama sets, bodysuits, oversized hoodies in colours such as neon green, pink and softer baby blues and white.
“I’m a visual person so clothing has always been important to me. I love the roles it can play and how it can make or break a scene (in a photo or moving image). I have also been desperate to make clothes that I would wear or shoot and love looking at clothing as costume design. Thinking about what your look brings to your character in your movie – the movie of your life.”Petra Collins
The capsule also features manga-inspired graphics created by anime artist, Migos, whose designs have been translated across a selection of t-shirts, colourful lingerie-inspired robes and matching printed bra and panty sets.
The ‘I’m Sorry’ collection by Petra Collins is available online now and retails between £45 – £205.
