PAUSE Eats: Vegan Protein Marble Cake

COVID-19 has sent us into a health kick frenzy! But naturally, we still have a need for something sweet for a treat/morale boost. 

Arbonne (who’s products are vegan and gluten free across the board; wow!) have come up with a yummy recipe, made with their Marble Cake Protein Mix. (You can also try out the recipe with any of their other flavours!)

Now is a great time to get in the kitchen and cook up something new!

Ingredients for base:

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
  • 2 scoops marble cake protein shake mix
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup rice malt syrup

Action: Mix altogether and press into baking tray as the base.

Ingredients for the topping

  • 3 tbsp almond butter
  • 3 tbsp rice malt syrup

Action: Put into the microwave to melt, then spread quickly over the base.

No baking required! (If you chill them, they will have the texture of a bar, and equally as tasty!)
