PAUSE Her Meets: Staying Home With @alizee_priso

COVID-19 has completely flipped our lives upside down across the globe, any sense of normalcy and routine has gone out of the window. Most of us are now at home figuring out what to do with our time. Of course if you feel like doing absolutely nothing that is fine, take the time to rest, no one should make you feel bad about that. For those of you looking for some ideas, we’ve called upon our favourite people to help share how they’ve been spending their time at home.

Today on our Staying Home series we have fashion model Alizée Priso Ekwakwe.

Since the beginning of this lockdown, I have realized how important family is in good times and bad. And that maybe I wasn’t taking enough time for them while I was in Paris, because it is where I live now. In such a special time, I recommend that people who read this article take a look at their lives, the progress of their projects, their dreams, question themselves and establish a list of goals, things to do or change for their life after the lockdown. This drama must remind us of all the real important things in life, of what or who we really need in our lives and what makes us happy.

This is my chance for my skin and hair to breathe. I take the time to take care of myself too. It is often something I do before an important event, a shoot or a party, but during the lockdown it becomes a real moment of relaxation. If you don’t have masks on hand, take a look on the internet and there are plenty of recipes for natural masks to make yourself. My favorite for moisturized skin: honey + lemon juice + olive oil + sugar (for exfoliation).

My lockdown sometimes seems to be like a basketball camp. Indeed, my dad loves to train my two brothers and I like playing basketball with them. I also discovered a passion for cooking. Before the lockdown, I had a reason for not cooking anything; I hadn’t enough time. Obviously, this excuse does not work anymore!

Remember to stay safe and of course, wash your hands!
