Beyoncé and JAY-Z For The Tiffany & Co. Fall 2021 ABOUT LOVE Campaign

It seems only fitting that Beyonce and JAY-Z headline Tiffany & Co.‘s latest fall campaign, titled ‘ABOUT LOVE’.

As the fabled pair rose to prominence in the middle of the third industrial revolution, Beyonce and JAY-Z have often captured what true love means. As such, no one could possibly lead a campaign that embodies history’s greatest love stories more than them. Considering the two parties’ shared vision, Tiffany & Co. has referred to their relationship as the “epitome of a modern love story.”

The concept of connection and vulnerability is explored in “ABOUT LOVE”. Visually throughout the campaign, Jean-Michel Basquiat’s Equals Pi (1982) provides the literary backdrop for the Carters’ love story.

As a part of the campaign, the musical Empress is wearing a South African-discovered 128.54 carat Tiffany Diamond, which has only been worn by three others, including Audrey Hepburn.

Further embellished with a yellow diamond chain and a matching 22-carat cushion-cut yellow diamond ring, the 39-year-old starlet is draped in black gowns from Givenchy and Balmain whilst remaining casual with an unkempt updo and a smokey cat-eye make-up look.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the campaign, renowned hip-hop icon JAY-Z wear a sharp black Givenchy tux alongside Jean Schlumberger’s legendary Bird on a Rock brooch which has seamlessly been transformed into cufflinks.

A video accompaniment to ‘ABOUT LOVE’ features a performance of the classic ‘Moon River directed by ‘Black is King’ filmmaker Emmanuel Adjei. Beyoncé’s rendition of this iconic tune has made it as popular as its first surfacing on Breakfast at Tiffany’s in 1961.

A nostalgic flashback is interwoven with cinematic, dreamlike images as the powerhouse couple selected Los Angeles’ Orum House as the location for the film – Basquiat’s Equals Pi appearing once again throughout the narrative.

The print campaign for “ABOUT LOVE” was shot by Mason Poole and styled by June Ambrose and Marni Senofonte and will be available on September 2nd along with the movie, which will debut on Tiffany & Co.’s official site on September 15th.
