A mildly underwhelming August has inspired Lazy Oaf to go on a retreat thus the brand’s winter collection will be split into four drops, launching weekly, commencing on the 2nd of September.
For drop one, Wakana Yamazaki imagines and illustrates mystical bunnies and horses amidst some unusual looking meditating mushrooms and blurry visioned meditating mushrooms inspired by psychedelics and hedonism. A cosy fleece jacket, parka jacket, lightweight cardigan, and sweatshirt all make up this 13-piece range complete with a reversible bucket hat, pastel socks and a Squish Face belt.
That’s not all. If you’re feeling hazy? Drop number two consists of slipping into Lucid Dreams, expected to launch on the 9th of September. Boasting yet another 13-piece range, the collection includes a cord dress, jumpsuit and a puffer jacket all adorned in the brand’s recognisable Happy Sad print. Alongside that, a soft matching tracksuit set and button-up cardigan are also featured among a selection of accessories which include the Happy Sad puffer bag, cardholder, check socks and candles in collaboration with NATA.
In these first two drops, pops of pink, lilac, and yellow are interwoven to create a warm-toned colour palette, perfect for the transition into autumn and mushroom picking season. The next two drops will be released soon.
