Global circular fashion brand UPPAREL has joined forces with streetwear social enterprise HoMie to launch a progressive eco-collection.
Produced under HoMie’s upcycled label — “REBORN” — offerings from the duo include a slew of one-off, upcycled apparel constructed from pre-loved garments and excess materials. The collaboration comes as no shock, as both labels are passionate about protecting the environment, raising awareness for Australia’s massive textile waste problem.
Now, through UPPAREL’s highly successful recycling initiatives, pre-loved items have been transformed into stand-out pieces, such as patchwork jackets and acid-wash denim.
UPPAREL will also partner with Melbourne Fashion Week to launch clothing drop off points in precincts, stores, shopping centres and tourism destinations.
The UPPAREL x REBORN collection is now available online at homie.com.au.
