What is it like working with family?
Loz: 95%of the time it’s amazing! We are so in sync and we know each other better than anyone. I can give Gigi one look and she know exactly what I’m thinking.
Gigi: We’re sisters. It can be love, it can be hate but at the end of the day we have each other’s back no matter what. We always remember the bigger picture of what we want to achieve so we won’t ever let a sister squabble get in the way of things.
Do you have a favourite famous set of sisters you admire?
Loz: We loved Mary Kate and Ashley movies and Sister Sister (Tia and Tamera) growing up.
Gigi: Now, we think the Clermont Twins’ style is sick. We love how they have branded themselves. It’s really powerful.
Who was your favourite artists growing up?
Loz: Mine was Chris Brown and Usher.
Gigi: I was a really big fan of Mika and Christina Aguilera
How would you summarise your personal style?
Gigi: We love street style. Loz is definetly more lounge/sexy street, and I would say I’m more street collective.
Loz: We love a simplistic look, with a sick trainer and layered jewellery.
Who would you most like to collaborate with?
Gigi: We’d love to work with Rema. He has a really unique, fresh sound that no one else is really doing at the moment.
Loz: Doja Cat would also be a dream as she has such an amazing, creative vision and style and we love her confidence and attitude. Other big dream collabs would be working with Lizzo and Chance the rapper. They both have such positive messages in their music and we’re really obsessed with gospel sounds and production that makes you feel uplifted.
Could you tell us about your new music and one song we should all go and listen to immediately.
Loz: Our II BLESSED EP is a really nice intro to us. They’re the first songs we’ve created that we were like “yes, this is blessed”. We have been busy creating and have really defined our sound now, but this is so special because it’s the beginnings of heritage BLESSED.
Gigi: ‘999’ is definitely the song you should listen to immediately!
