COVID-19 has completely flipped our lives upside down across the globe, any sense of normalcy and routine has gone out of the window. Most of us are now at home figuring out what to do with our time. Of course if you feel like doing absolutely nothing that is fine, take the time to rest, no one should make you feel bad about that. For those of you looking for some ideas, we’ve called upon our favourite people to help share how they’ve been spending their time at home.
Today on our Staying Home series we have writer and Vogue Business Social Media Manager Jess Lawrence.
Besides having to work full time still, during this crazy time I’m really going to try and work on two elements of my life which I have neglected, and that’s fitness and reading.
I tend to buy loads of books thinking I still have the time to read as much as I did when I was at Uni, so they are pilling up! I really want to learn more and get stuck into something that’s good for my brain, so going to aim for one book a fortnight! The first on my list is ‘The Moment Of Lift’ by Melinda Gates.
My fitness has really gone downhill. Living a busy life, it’s not been a priority so I’m going to do some home work outs (Joe Wicks and Barry’s Bootcamp are doing cool livestreams on Instagram).
And then if I have time, a purge of my wardrobe!
Remember to stay safe and of course, wash your hands!
