COVID-19 has completely flipped our lives upside down across the globe, any sense of normalcy and routine has gone out of the window. Most of us are now at home figuring out what to do with our time. Of course if you feel like doing absolutely nothing that is fine, take the time to rest, no one should make you feel bad about that. For those of you looking for some ideas, we’ve called upon our favourite people to help share how they’ve been spending their time at home.
Today on our Staying Home series we have fashion blogger Jess Xu.
Being home has definitely proposed some new challenges for me, especially because I had to leave my apartment in New York City to be with my family in these scary, uncertain times.
What I found works for me is to take it day by day. I have been trying to stay off the news and instead, focusing on things that make me happy and pursing new talents in order to remain positive. These include FaceTiming my friends, reading books that have yet to be touched, listening to podcasts, and bettering my sewing skills!
I have also found some amazing at-home workouts on YouTube. The one I’m currently doing is model Alexis Ren’s ab workout challenge. Since we’re going to be stuck indoors for the next few months, might as well come out with a summer bod!
